  I always enjoy Rico's posts, even -- perhaps, especially -- when I don't fully understand them. This one I understood (thankfully!), and was an interesting look at the application shut down process.
• What arrays and pointers have in common - or - Why arrays start at zero -- Karl Seguin
  I found this fascinating, especially now that I'm digging deeper (ever deeper) into the guts of how computers, memory and the 1s and 0s that power our systems all work.
• Just Say No to Manual CRUD -- Caffeinated Coder
  Feeding into an eventual (perhaps) sproc rant I may or may not write.
• Cycles in Computer Science, or Am I Ancient? -- Rico Mariani
  Two Ricos for the price of one. This was a wonderful look at programming language evolution and cycles. (And by the way, Rico isn't ancient, he's seasoned -- there is a very big difference in software engineers!)
• Whatever Happened to UI Consistency -- Coding Horror
  I'm a Jeff Atwood fan, no matter what some might feel about Coding Horror. It just so happens that I'm also a UI geek (despite being a primarily server-side developer!)
